  1. What about controlling a cnc machine? Hmm Aparrently the concept of the RPi is to teach youngsters about programming but allegedly, most are being bought by males in their late 30s who probably owned a Sinclair spectrum or (for even more kudos) a zx81! Guilty on all counts!
  2. If RCM&E want a review done then look no further guys! Just pop it in the post. The avatar image was computer generated, honest!
  3. Much thinner wing section by the looks of it.
  4. Still having fun building Tony's Hurricane and next autum would be the perfect time to start a ...   GEE BEE R2  or a MOSSIE  or a  JET PROVOST.
  5. There is no bigger name in the hobby.  I did not have the pleasure but I've built and flown his designs and would  always look forward to reading his articles.  He enriched many lives. Rest In Peace.
  6. 1/4 scale Moth on finals at  Cumbernauld MFC with the Campsie Hills in the background.
  7. Dear Sir/Madam Please may you enter me in this months prize draw and please may I win first prize. Many thanks.
  8. From the minute I saw the photo at the top I knew I had to build one of these. Being involved in Aeromodelling for a couple of years now flying ARTF's, this is my first (of many too come!) scratchbuild and I have enjoyed the process immensely. Powered by an OS LA40 I had spare and covered in Profilm. Very smooth flier and looks simply delightful in the sky, an absolute cracker! Sharper eyes may notice an additional 10mm or so in the wing chord due to the wrong trailing edge stock being purchased and discovery being after removal from the board but nonetheless... Yes, ARTF has its merits in a 'bums on seats' capacity but this has been an awakening.
  9. What a delightful shape! When will the plans be available?
