  1. We have flown in the Elan valley but the walk is probably worse than the Mynd ......I would think Titterstone would be better than Brown Clee as the east side is pretty tree strewn ..... I like flying over Church Stretton though so the walk is worth the effort
  2. where abouts do you live John .....Ive flown from Brown C;lee and Titterstone but the Mynd is much better than both really
  3. Sounds like the tail incedence has changed now its all repaired
  4. D o you see all those screws ...thers a reason for them .....Carrera fuzes were made as slush mouldings and the material while pretty much unbreakable is almost pretty much unstickable aswell ...you just wont find a way to fix MPX wing locks in there ....Gaz PM me your address and ill send mine to you .....I knew id kept that fuz for decades for a reason ...   Andy
  5. The Carrera Saggy had there usual wing fixing of the time ...these were i think 1 set but maybe 2 sets of plastic keepers .Effectivly a hook with an oblong end on it , this fitted in the wing corresponding box and then you twisted it to lock ..the hooks were joined across the fuz by lacky bands . Ill see if my old fuz at home still has them on and post a piccy of them ...mystery solved ..   so Ken no there not for mpx connectors ...pre dates them
  6. The BARCS website is increasing its bandwidth ........rock on   no offence intendedEdited By Andy Burgoyne on 21/06/2011 21:59:49
  7. Posted by ken anderson. on 11/06/2011 11:19:02: ..... when you describe it as tucking under in a dive - i think that indicates it is tail heavy......so add small amounts of lead to the rear end and have another go ken anderson ne..1. Are you sure thats what you mean Ken .............to be honest 200g of ballast is neither here nor there ...but more nose weight should help it loop
  8. and dont bother with the blackjack type switches ,more trouble than there worth ...first lot of rain nin there and there gunge up
  9. get an M60 from T9   dont bother with an ubber anything Edited By Andy Burgoyne on 10/06/2011 15:12:38
  10. Any 60 inch racer should breeze past a WT to be honest . After spending the week with Abbo I think Ron is only currently building Polecat/copycats and odesseys ................the odesses are quick ...polecats carry ballast in the fuz but can also carruy in the wing
