We have flown in the Elan valley but the walk is probably worse than the Mynd ......I would think Titterstone would be better than Brown Clee as the east side is pretty tree strewn ..... I like flying over Church Stretton though so the walk is worth the effort

where abouts do you live John .....Ive flown from Brown C;lee and Titterstone but the Mynd is much better than both really

Sounds like the tail incedence has changed now its all repaired

D o you see all those screws ...thers a reason for them .....Carrera fuzes were made as slush mouldings and the material while pretty much unbreakable is almost pretty much unstickable aswell ...you just wont find a way to fix MPX wing locks in there ....Gaz PM me your address and ill send mine to you .....I knew id kept that fuz for decades for a reason ...   Andy

here you go ....this must be about 30 yrs old ...

The Carrera Saggy had there usual wing fixing of the time ...these were i think 1 set but maybe 2 sets of plastic keepers .Effectivly a hook with an oblong end on it , this fitted in the wing corresponding box and then you twisted it to lock ..the hooks were joined across the fuz by lacky bands . Ill see if my old fuz at home still has them on and post a piccy of them ...mystery solved ..   so Ken no there not for mpx connectors ...pre dates them

Any 60 inch racer should breeze past a WT to be honest . After spending the week with Abbo I think Ron is only currently building Polecat/copycats and odesseys ................the odesses are quick ...polecats carry ballast in the fuz but can also carruy in the wing

Currently in Dublin for a couple of days working ...then off down to Cnty Kerry for 2 days with Lord Woodstock to sample his best coastal flying ..see just what the Wings and More Stingray is really like .............and maybe some guiness aswell ....and need to check out the pub that well be using when a gang of us come over in May ...cruel job but somebody has to do it

Ummmm what to do ...finish the Jart ..........start on the Higgins F20 or start the Stingray ............decisions decisions ....the Jart wont take much to get flying ...and half the kit is on the way for the Ray ....

Luckily everytime Ive had an MPX 7 Synth stop working its been before I launched the model ...3 times .......and always shortly after Ive changed the frequency ....you need to reset it back to factory default and start again .............Now I just dont change them or dont use them
