I have always had success with solar film but the shop we went to did not have any, so we got this instead, just been covering my peter miller feugray, have managed to cover the rudder moderately but went to cover the fin and right elevator but there is massive sagging, if anything, heating it up has made it go looser that it was when it went on, I have sealed all the edges securely before shrinking up but it just will not shrink! it is annoying, especially when this stuff costs so bloomin much Tried using a hot hair drier to shrink it but it is no use this is making me feel quite depressed

The first nitro plane I flew was my granddad's club's toffee bombing barnstormer! It was a beast! although when they were ready for me to fly it, it was pretty high up! -

Brainwave! I was staring at the dismembered tail surface of my miss demeanor sitting nex to the computer table and wondering what could have caused the horrible pitching, turns out I had forgotten to chamfer the leading and trailing edges of the tail surfaces :s could this have been the tiny mistake that could have caused such grief?

I think I am going to put a smoke system on mine so I have put a hatch under the fuel tank, I have also put a hatch at the back for any lead I may need to add. Oh and I have finished sheeting the bottom fuse. -

I think if you are interested in doing cnc cutting, there is a plugin for google sketchup which allows you to plot cutting strokes around your parts, ie offset them the diameter of the cutting bit. -

My obechi spars have actually warped slightly but the addition of the leading edge sheeting will be able to remove that. -
Go on, buy it!!! :P what about a hk450? i think they are quite cheap but the spares are very cheap! check giant cod. http://www.giantcod.co.uk/hk450-ccpm-electric-helicopter-p-403899.html Strangely they sell (or atleast have on their website) spares for hk250s but they don't sell the kits!

UAV Build
Peter 'Ivanna Crashalot' Savage replied to Stefan Hafner's topic in Build Blogs and Kit Reviews
basically it pushes the BB onto an o ring then releases reservoired air onto the back of it, propelling the BB out! I wish i had my own lathe! Anyway, enough of mine, back you yours! -
If they made it belt driven tail like any other 250 it would be better. You sure you don't want it? it is an impressive high quality machine, nothing like these cheap nasty Esky lamas Come with two batteries! Edited By Peter 'Servo Scrounger' Savage on 02/04/2010 00:00:06
