  7. Wait until just after Christmas then ask your nephews for their broken Bladerunners and Picoz  My own Fox has a Corona synth and 3.6g's from fishface and works a treat on a single 110mah lipo from a Bladerunner. Phil
  8. I've had loads of stuff from Giant Cod, two synth Rxs, micros, minis, lipos, motors, escs, props, adapters, chargers - all good. A lot of it looks identical to the badge-branded expensive stuff - I'd say its the self same kit.  Rob is very honest, to a degree rarely seen in retail - he actively encourages customer reviews positive or negative, and his forum is superb - how many other importers can say they have the Chinese manufacturers as contributing members of the forum, acting on customer feedback?  The only downside is stock - of which Rob is well aware and is working to improve. Thoroughly recommended. Phil_G  Edit: I just remembered another story - I once chose a charger from the GC website, then ordered the wrong one the following night. As it was my mistake I had to put up with the lower-spec charger, or so I thought. On my next order, weeks later, mentioned this to Rob, swap arranged for the price difference and now I have my charger of choice. I dont know any other retailer who would do that.

  10. Chap called Dave Hill used to make Soarcerer fibreglass fuzzes for the Sheffield club lads, tops & bottoms rather than the usual left & right sides. Here's one in the foreground of the attached 1970 pic. I still have a few Impala & Soarcerer wings, and I still have a 3/4 scale Impala I built years ago, a bit like the Soarcerette idea (I built mine first, honest!). We occasionally used full-house Soarcerers for serious aerobatics/pylon competitions back then... Good old days. Phil
  11. Re small batteries,  http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=10149322#post10149322 This is what I'm using in my MPX Fox, 4 cells fit easily. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=10409693#post10409693  Cheers Phil
