Dizz  What flight time do you get out of the 2500 packs? I was hoping to get the Loong max lipos from giant cod but they dont do 2500's!!   I just fot my Squall today from the shop the fan isnt in it waiting on the new fan coming in from Ripmax!!!!!! Should be here by the 8th Oct. It will give me plenty of time to do a decent paint job on it.    (Probably going to d oa very quick build blog!! Some great colour schemes im going to have to put some effort into mine when i get it!!! So what is required in the build i imagine glue the wings and fin on then fit the servos. Is the fan already fitted or does it need fitting?    

Cant beat a bit of RAF / Fish head banter!!! (no disrespect meant by the Fish head term!!) The forces need to stick together cos before long we will only have 1 boat with 1 plane and 1 tank on it the way things are going!!!   When i get mine im thinking about painting mine in the F16 aggressor colours not sure if i should do the blue / grey scheme from Vegas or the black and grey scheme from Alaska   Andy

Dizz   Ive gone for the HP version with the VT unit. What size battery are you using i was thinking about a 4cell 3000 see how it goes!! Not sure about your colour scheme though as im in the RAF!!!!   Cheers   Andy

I Got some money for my birthday so i decided to buy something with it instead of going shopping in Asda (other supermarkets are available) So i went for the phase 3 squall. Ive seen all the vids on youtube and read reviews and thought that looks fun. Ive ordered the T V set just for added adrenalin (the brown type!!!) Does anyone on here have 1 not seen anything on here about it.   Andy

Its coming on very nice now mate.   Our little bump is going to arive on Thursday so i will give it a few weeks and i think i am going to attempt the westwings EDF Hawk as my first kit build!!! Have you decided on a colour scheme and markings for it yet?   Andy

Im in the same boat Andy Ive got a wee sprog due in 8 weeks and the other half wants upstairs decorating before then!!! Im glad the weather is pants so i wouldnt be flying anyway. Very impressed with the build wish i could find something to build but the event in 8 weeks is stopping me!!!

What size motor and battery are you using?

Im thinking about one of these myself. Is it a one piece wing or did you have to join it?   Andy

Try a pair of cheap polarized (if thats how you spell it) glasses. I use them when fishing and some guys use them when flying and say they work a treat.

I got the graupner typhoon for christmas its so much fun to fly i love it. Look at hobby hanger £145 i think.

Ross I checked it all out on the ground nose up at full power and everything was fine before i flew it. Ive changed the whole fuel tank  and everything is great now.   Cheers Andy

Having spent a good hour looking for my mates plane in a rape seed field i think it might be a good idea to fit one of those bleepy modle finder thingys. Does anyone out there have one or know of any good ones about??   Cheers Andy

One of the lads at my club has one. It flies really well ive not heard a bad thing about the pulse. Im thinking about getting a mini pulse for a little electric toy.   Andy

Ive checked the clunk fuel line and no leaks there either. Its all back together and i'll try again tomorrow!!!

Well went off to the field with my new Hanger 9 Showtime 50 with an OS max 55 ax in the front.  I tweaked the engine on the stand and it ran really well got it all sorted. When i built up the courage it was time to put it where it belonged. Took off got the trims sortedthen i heard it start to cough and splutter!!! I wont tell you what i said as i would get told off!! Anyway i got it down in one piece.   When i looked at the fuel line to the carb there was loads of air bubbles in it! So i wondered if there was a leak somewhere. When i got home i took the tank out, filled the sink put a fuel bung in one line and blew in the other. Nothing it is airtite. so i was thinking that the tank was vibrating about and bubbling the fuel up in the tank. So ive packed more sponge round the tank to make sure it doesnt move about!! I'll try again tomorrow. 

Ive decided on the OS Max-55AX should pull it through the air at a fair crack. Going to order it from just engines tomorrow when they re-open after the bank holiday.
