  1. I need an undercarriage leg as I had a mishap and snapped one of the legs. As the model is no longer in production, I cannot find spares. Does anyone have a leg I can buy.
  2. I have used Futaba since 1990 and see no need to change. I was finding Futaba receivers getting very expensive so I moved to FrSky receivers. Their entry level receiver is 1/3 the cost of Futaba 607 and has fail safe on all channels where Futaba only have fail safe on throttle. No brainer really.
  3. Great idea Mike. I don't use my 27 and 35MHz radio any more as my Futaba 10CG on 2.4GHz is everything I could need and an article on faults and maintenance would be very interesting and helpful.
  4. Saw them speed through Wetherby after lunch, took less than 20 seconds to pass. Weather was cold and breezy but occasional sunshine.  The traffic cops were entertaining, more cops on bikes that cyclists.  Then to the pub, BAR3, for a hot coffee and cake. After went home and spend a bit of therapy time in the workshop. All in all a good day.   Edited By Stuart Morris on 29/04/2016 19:57:54
  5. Hi Mike, I found the photo of your Easy Rider on a google search, there was no reference to you. I crashed my Easy Rider 7 times and then taught myself with an Atilla. Later I did fly the Easy Rider successfully. I liked the ease of construction, a plastic type fuselage and the foam wings. I would love to find an untouched kit but I won't be holding my breath. Thanks for the information.
  6. My first R/C model was an Easy Rider similar to the one shown. I used it to attempt to teach myself to fly while living in the Middle East in 1978. Does anyone know of this design and does anyone know where I could get hold of one.
  7. This months RCM&E in the wanted ads there is a request for Futaba 35MHz receiver. The Northants phone number given is an unknown number. If the buyer wants a Futaba receiver I have several but need the correct number to make contact. I hope he reads this.
  8. Marquis looks fabulous, my favourite C/L model in the 60's. I recently scaled up my plan to 60" for R/C but it is now stalled as I cannot get a suitable canopy. Your version looks great, glad it flies as well as it looks.
  9. Great copy, the mag goes from strength to strength. My problem is I read it too quickly, all done in a couple of days then I am waiting for the next edition. Well done David, looking forward to many more good reads.
  10. We were using rubber bands years before radio control was invented
  11. I recently bought my second WOT4 XL, it is such a great model and so much fun. While flying my first [RIP ] WOT4 last year there were 3 more at the strip and I deliberately did not fly with any of the others as I did not want to end up flying the wrong model. To help with this my new model supports extra trim, I certainly won't mistake it for any other WOT4, and I think it looks good too.
