This is my first forum reply and it was not written directly into the ‘Post a reply’, box.
What I have done is to create a ‘Word’ document (or the ‘Pages’ equivalent for Apple computers) and when it was complete, and making sure that I first ‘saved’ it! - I copied it and pasted it into the ‘Post a reply‘ box.
The benefits of posting a reply in this way are:
1. It can be prepared off-line and thereby avoid wasting broadband time whilst composing it or undertaking research ie the Modelflying website can be closed until the document is ready for posting.
2. The reply can be prepared and edited at leisure.
3. The *30 minutes time-out becomes redundant.
4. Photographs/graphics can be included.
5. The document can be retrieved with ease without having to open the Modelflying website - again saving broadband time.
6. Editing can be carried out if necessary after the document has been pasted into the 'Post a reply' box (*but this must be undertaken within the 30minutes time-out)
