David Ashby - Moderator
Chris Foss now sells a Uno Wot electric package so you could do a lot worse than give him a call for advice. David.

Mike Rollason
Hi Danny,Glad to hear that the conversion works well. What changes did you have to make, and what motor, esc and batteries are you using?Look forward to hearing from you.CheersMike
Danny Fenton
Hi Mike,I used a 600 watt motor, 6 A123 cells, a 60A controller. Static power was pushed to around 800 watts but it unloads loads in flight and 12 minute flights are no problem. See the pics in my album of the conversion. there is also a video of the maiden flight here if you are interested. http://media.putfile.com/First-flight-electric-conversion-Wot-4The model is not modified in ANY way and is not lightened, it was built to fly IC and had four unreliabe motors before I threw in the towel on IC with that model and slapped in an electric motor. The tank and throttle servo were removed. The model will be flying at the Greenacres electric Fun Fly this weekend 18/19 if you want to see it in the flesh and have a chat about it http://Greenacres.co.uk
