Frazer Simpson
At last I’m ready to put the canopy on my I.C. Whizzza. I have built the removable wing version. Would someone be kind enough to explain how it is attached to the wing and do I have to fabricate something where it butts up against the rear fuselage. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers Frazer
Chris Bott - Moderator
pop the words Whizza and Whizzza (3 Z's) into the search box above twinstar and you'll be spoilt for choice. My blog is here Not shown in the blog, for the canopy, I drew lines on the wing where the edges of the canopy and glued strips of balsa along them. Then I used tiny self tappers to screw through the canopy into these strips. Glue would work against these strips too, but I wanted to be able to remove the canopy. The canopy stays with my wing when it comes off, well it would, but I've never taken it off. An alternative, would be to screw the canopy to the fuselage, in front and behind the wing.
