Walter Pearson
I am not an experienced plan builder and though I have been able to follow the recent plan in the magazine so far it shows no detail of engine mounting, fueling access, plug access ect. HELP please
Peter Miller
The engine is mounted on a Radio Active long mount which is bolted to the box with 3 mm capheads going into blind nuts in the rear face of the front of the box. Access to the plug is through a hole in the side of the cowling. You might need a long plug clip, I use one. The fuel filler comes out of the left hand air intake. I glue a short stub of 1/8" dowel ino the intake and push the filler tube ont that to seal it after filling. Sorry I didn't spot this thread for a few days. Walter Pearson
Thanks Peter for your help. From what you say the engine is mounted on its side. The fueling idea is new to me, great,W.P.
Peter Miller
yes, that is the only way to hide the engine. I have been usung that idea for cowled engines for a few years now
