Mark Barnes Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 I have just got hold of a fairly old irvine 61 sport r/c ringed engine, in pretty good condition, which I intend to put into my Kyosho AgWagon.Problem is that it hasn't come with a silencer. The engine has the exhaust screw holes drilled and tapped into the cylinder, so the scews go in through the silencer and screw into the engine. This is different to all the other engines I have,Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of a suitable silencer.Also what prop size should I be looking at for this engine and model. harley1 Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 hi mark,where the prop sizes are concerned you could either use 12x8-10 or 13x6-7 as a starting point.On the exhaust matter you could either have a look at just engines web site or if you cant see anything give them a ring,hope this helps.
