David the flyer
hi i'm looking to buy some wing bags for my Yak 55, does anyone know where i can buy some from? cheers dave
andy watson
Just make some. I have used laminate flooring underlay or bubble wrap (with flat sheets on both sides instead of the usual one side). The bags can be held together with duct tape. Easy, and almost free.

winchweight
Homebase silver covered insulation bubblewrap makes great wing bags. I use them on my turbine.
Grasshopper
Made my wing and fus. bags (well the wife did!) from silver coated carpet underlay - for a 2m glider. Not too happy now though as each time I pick up the bundle the aileron and flap servos get a pounding. Any ideas on how to clamp the surfaces in transit? I thought of those plastic things you slide onto one edge of a few sheets of A4 to make a 'book' but can't find where to buy a few.
John Tee
Grasshopper. Try Staples office supplies or any stationery store. john
