Peter Gallivan Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Hi all, I am trying to use the addiditiional memory function on my Futaba 8FG transmitter and have a new 2GB card for the purpose. Putting the card in the SD slot in the battery compartment (the right way round!!) I was expecting to get prompted to format the card ready for use. However nothing, the display just remains the same. I am assuming that I have missed something blindly obvious!!! However can anyone who has successfully used thiSD card facility kindly give me an idiots guide to get the card working etc Mucho gracious!!! Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator Posted November 30, 2010 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Hi Peter, I have a 8FG but I'm afraid I haven't tried the SD card option (I don't posess more than 20 models!) However, Futaba's website has an excellent FAQ section on the 8FG with lots of useful "how to" information. Have you looked there?
