R6Dan Email contact for Ripmax: [email protected] Customer Service Manager I had a technical issue a while back with a transmitter and he was first class at getting it resolved. As BEB says I also think you have been extremely unlucky getting two sets with faults but to Ripmax's credit they did replace your first one through your LMS and I suspect if this unit is found to be faulty they will instruct your LMS to replace that one too. Dan Problem sounds like an Unrecoverable failure (EEPROM, etc.) Ripmax will be able to repair it for you David

AA Check page 35 of user manual on how to change Modulation select. To use R617FS receivers with this transmitter you have to set modulation select to 2.4G-7CH mode. Switch transmitter off then on after making this selection. After you do this power up your receiver (you should see the receiver led blinking green) press the small bind switch located between the two antennas. When the led is steady green you have successfully bound the receiver to the transmitter. Hope this helps Dave

Hi Garny try here The 2100 MAH Instants packs are similar to Sanyo Eneloops but are a bit cheaper. I use them in my 6EX and also use the receiver packs. I can also recomend the first class service from Vapextech Cheers DaveEdited By David McMullan on 19/12/2009 12:29:28 Edited By Timbo - Administrator on 19/12/2009 16:42:22

Hi Dave, Tutor 40 kit and spare parts are still listed on Ripmax website so it looks still to be current. Maybe give them a call to find out. Dave

Eric, As per Richard's earlier post "TRNR ON" will be flashing. You can turn the TX off and on and it will retain this setting. To allow the slave Tx to control the model in buddy mode you have to hold the trainer switch on the master Tx (Top left on the 6EX) Hope this helps

Hi Arran, Think most popular is the FMA CPD 4 and FS8 Co Pilot. Can Google either for more info. David.
