Nies Daan
Hello all,I am looking into buying a new fieldcharger. I would like it to be as powerfull as possible and have a big display to monitor all the variables from the charge (the normal ones + temp, peak voltage and ...).The Schulze isl8 would be perfect, but I think it is a bit to pricy.Ideal would be a merge between 2 Robbe chargers:the Power Peak Infinity 3 and the Power Peak Maxamp...Does anybody know a charger that would meet the need??Thank in advance...DaanPS.: I really really really like the new site... and the magazine offcourse
David Ashby - Moderator
Thanks Dean, There are so many to choose from, do you need to charge many cells? Personally I use a Graupner charger but every retailer has a few so shop around. price is usually detirmined by the number of cells the unit can handle which in turn is detirmined by the size of your packs. A unit that can cycle amd condition is a good idea and worth the extra.
Nies Daan
Currently I also am using a Graupner Ultra 30.. the one that had a good review in RCM&E a couple of months back. I really like it, but I would like to have more power (charging and discharging at +10A) and a bigger interface. More than a 2 line LCD.I would like functionality to charge upto 5s and 24 Cell NIMH, the rest I never use.Daan

Michael Woollacott
For Lipolys have a look at the FMA Direct HD Pro. This chrager provides full balance charge whilst charging for 2s to 6s and up to 10 amp charge. Look on FMAdirect.com or aurorra.co.uk. for details. Probably one of the safest lipoly chargers on the market.Mick
