Trots
Hi all and a Happy New Year ! Santa was a very nice man to me in delivering the T.N. 46 inch Spitfire complete kit, but there appears to be a decision to be made. The plan shows 6 mm washout at the wingtip but the RCM&E build review (accessed via T.N. website) says no washout required , so appealing to modellers who have knowledge of this aeroplane or Mr. Nijhuis himself , do I build in washout or not ? .........Trevor
David perry 1
Well personally I'd always add washout. If you build it in and it doesnt really need it, you've wasted nothing: but if you dont build it in and it DOES really need it you'll have build a right handful!! Trex700e
I built Tony's larger 62" spitfire (46" enlarged) and tony says that it is optional whether you build in the wash out. I did build the wash out in becasue of the exact same reason David just said. And the spit flies a treat!
