I fly FPV quads and 3D aircraft and have found 3D printing really useful. For example, I have added winglets to some of my aircraft and printed loads of quad frames. If I break a quad frame I can simply create a new one. Also I love all the different varieties of filament available.

Yeah ABS slurry is good for keeping an ABS part onto the print bed but it is not good for sticking two parts together. For joining ABS or PLA I have always found a contact adhesive like UHU Por to be best. Any glue that when cured still has a bit of flex in will work wonderfully. 2 Part epoxy usually cracks along the join line. I hope this helps.

3D printing - a home production revolution?
Trex700e replied to Frank Skilbeck's topic in Model Engineering and Accessories
Well whilst waiting for HK to restock their 3D printer filaments I decided to try some from **LINK** Was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I thought it was worth a mention as they seem to have their ABS filament on offer at the moment. -
WOW this build is stunning!!!

I am now much more interested in Helicopters and hope to continue with this interest like most 18 year olds, but a Tony Nijhuis P-51D might tempt me to revisit scratch building a model again. I cant think of any other designer who has had, or will have this effect so well done Tony, keep the lovely models coming!

Should lewis hamilton go to mercedes or stay with McClaren?

Mclaren can provide a winning car. I think he would be stupid to move away from them despite the bigger pay check -
Hobby King UK stock levels

Hobby King have had trouble with the shipping getting delayed and not arriving to the UK on time. It would seem that they cant stock the UK warehouse fast enough -

Cheap vs expensive manufacturers
Trex700e replied to Chris Jones 7's topic in All Things Model Flying
Multiplex kits are fairly expensive for what they are but the quality of the kit and the ease of builing and the flying characteristics makes it good value for money. (this is the same for Parkzone) However, Precision Aerobatics kits are also fairly expenisve but i have found that they are very fragile and dont fly as well as the price tag would suggest -
I would suggest you walk in and find the model, tread carefully and the crop will still be harvestable. Combine harvesters are designed to reach crop low to the ground so you will be fine and i am sure the farmer would not be happy if a UMX Gee Bee caused the downfall of his expensive harvester so go for it. But do be careful.
