philfly
I have recently purchased the topflite sea fury (xmas present to myself) I am looking for retracts for it, i know that the web site lists Robart and century Jets versions but does anyone have experience of the best place to get these in the uk or suitable alternatives? Are there any of the new servoless electric type that would be up to the job of supporting a 14lb model? Any advice would be appreciated
scott cuppello
Have a look at Lado-tech electric retracts, I am using them in the BH Corsair 90" and will be using them in MY Christmas present [CMPRO Zero 50cc], electric is the way to go I reckon, the only air systems worth buying are the real quality end [Century I personally think are the best]...but I hate air, it's nothing but hassle. www.lado-tech.net Link here, they are in France, so no import duty and Christophe is a realy nice guy, very helpful. philfly
Cheers Scot. The Lado stuff looks good and they have them for the sea fury. What oleo's/legs did you use with these? I will have a look at the century jets stuff Danny
scott cuppello
You will need to look at stuff with a 5mm pin, their own are by all accounts good, but obviously not off-set, for cheap 5mm pin offsets, look here; http://www.rcskylite.com/categories/Struts/
