Phil 9
I am after a second transmitter I currently use a DX6iI what a second transmitter I can leave at the mother in laws house together with a small electric model I can use when I visit.as it will not get a fantastic amount of use I want something cheep but still reliableas well as visits to the local club it will get used at park sites and waste ground. with the lack of channel control at these site I think I would prefer 2.4G rather than 35M (shame as second hand 35m txs are plenty and cheep unless someone can convince me 35m is still ok used at uncontrolled sites)giant cod and hobby king sell 2.4g cheep 4 and 6 channel txs but the feedback for these products is very mixed. Has anyone here have experience of such products.I would love to hear all your suggestions please

Gaz Elliott
Several solutions Get a DX8 and leave the 6 at mums. Get a dx 5 and leave that at mums??? Get a second hand dx 6, 7 or 8 Obviously you have lots of spekkie rxs already so to stay in the range would be sensible. I would like a DX8 there was one for sale on BMFA £210!! Sold now thoughEdited By Gaz Elliott on 23/02/2011 14:36:
Phil 9
Gaz I would like a dx8 too but dont have a spare 300 quid but you may have found the answer for me. I was thinking a dx5e was about 80 quid but you promted me to look on ebay and you can pick then up for less than 40 I dont think I can beat that thanks all
Steve Houghton 1
I would go for a DX5 Phil, they're cheap enough. I actually use one on my Phoenix sim to save me using my DX6i.Edited By Steve Houghton 1 on 23/02/2011 15:03:
Gaz Elliott
Well after a bit of research the best price that I have found appears to be from inwoods and this looks pretty good. it is only the TX but thats all you need I guess. Phil 9
not ordered one yet.I plan to build the model first fitted with a spectrum compatible orange rx and maiden it using my DX6i if all works well I can then order the Dx5e and leave it with the model at the same time looking out for any second hand tx's on ebay just in case a bargain comes up
