Skydiver 1 This afternoon i decided to get my record breaker out of moth balls, she's powered by an old 61 merco ,BUT i hasten to add it's been rebuilt and runs very sweet indeed ,Now the question does she take a long reach plug or a short reach ?I rather tend to think a long reach would do the trick ,I had her running up this after but every time i took the glo start off she stopped ,it's got a shot reach in at the mo so what do you recon ? cheers TD

definitely a long reach plug-is your fuel left from when you mothballed your model? if so it may have some absorbed some water which will give the symptoms you describe. A long reach plug, maybe a fairly hot one if running on straight fuel, will increase compression slightly which should also help
hope this helps
