Posting this question in a 6-year-old thread didn't make it any easier, mind.....which could be why I might be barking up the wrong tree...... I did a search for "log" as in pilot's. it took me to a page with the links on iy which doesn't work. This thread had the same title, so I used it in my plea for help.
