Alan Bahia
Hi All, I have had 1 Sullivan smoke pump over a year and died then I've bought a second one back in January 2011 and yesterday went to the field and guest what? The pump was dead. I check batteries level, blockages, everything.... The pump was gone! Now a took both pumps back to the model shop and they will talk to the distributor in the UK. Some facts: 1. The pump cost around £120 in the UK. (I just found out that hobbyking has them for just over £46... 2. Found some alternatives and wonder if anyone has them to give some feedback: 2a. Slimline (looks the same as Sullivan) 2b. Powerbox smoke pump; Expensive, but if works then I rather expend my hard owned money on them. Have you got experience with them? Videos? I would love to see the RC magazine to cover an article about smoke oils, pumps, size of engines, etc. Cheers, Alan
