Ernie
Nearly had one with a big black crow. Fortunately it was much more nimble than my thumbs were ernie
Aaron Stevens
lost my first ever trainer to a mid air that made me quit for more than 10 years and now i am back to start again
Alwyn Gee
Oh yes, only two birds in the air!!!!!!!! First ever visit to a new club and both total write offs. Including the engine on my opponent's, (sorry compatriot's) plane as it landed nose first on the concrete perri-track and smashed the cylinder block. This gave rise to much banter and liquid extraction for weeks, nae, months to come. it would be very wrong of me to feel anything but sadness when I report that the last laugh is no longer on me as there have recently been two further mid-airs, both with only two aircraft flying. Needless to say I have made the most of the golden opportunity for retribution. Alwyn
