david 7 Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Hi all, after 9 months of training with my instructor in all weather i finally got my solo today the weather was great a bit tired after a night shift but all fell into place, its been a hard slog and nearly gave up on a few occasions my instructor was a hard task master it had to be consistent landings and take off over and over again, whent home many a time with my tail between my legs thinking i was ready but he said you are not ready he has given up a lot of his time and patience to get me to his standard i can now see where he was coming from if it was easy every one would be doing it he said,going to have a beer and celebrate , no i will be up the field at 6.00 in the morning.
