dav84
I have a set of 10-15 retracts that i want to fit in a model that is just over 2kg, which is just over their operating weight. I have notice that the 15-25 retracts are the same sized body but with 3.5mm legs rather than 3mm. Does anyone know if it is possible to drill out the 10-15 retracts to accept the 3.5mm legs to increase the operating weight?
Iain Hale
DavidI have just drilled out the 15-25 size units to take 4.0 mm legs seems to be ok. To drill out more than 0.5mm would be to risky in my opinion

dav84
Its a Spitfire that i made by adapting a TN plan. I have recently had a rply from Horizon Hobby and they said that it is ok to drill it out to accept the 3.5mm legs.
