Plummet
Digital Calipers - £8ish - Aldi Saw them today, and bought myself a second pair. Now I have a pair in my aeromodelling workshop, and a pair for any other jobs, so there is a chance I can find at least one of them. Alan Cantwell
ours at work look just the same, yet are £75 plus, by Mytoyoto, last year, i went on an inspection coarse, the instructor said that the company we use to gauge all our gaugeing, bought one of these, and apart from the low quality linear guides, they could not fault it for accuracy, or repeatabilty, darned good buy if you ask me

Essjay
I would recommend removing the batteries from these if you don't plan to use them for a while. They will flatten very quickly if you leave them in.Steve

Barryorbik
I had a problem with short battery life and found it was due to the foam lining in the carry case pushing on the on/off button. Simple cure was to cut a slot in the foam in the lid to allow the buttons freedom when the case was closed. Barry
simon burch
Never managed to get a set of these before, but there was a big pile of them in East Grinstead this morning. Very useful bit of kit and easier to read than my non digital ones.Cheers,Simon
TheFlyingCrust
Now available at Lidl. Bought a set today and they seem fine. Without a set of slip gauges (!) I can't vouch for their accuracy but they are most certainly repeatable. Bargain at the same price at £8.99 Ian
Bob Cotsford
Mine are okish, but when opeing the jaws the measurement often jumps in multiples of 5mm. I really aught to return them.
