David Ashby - Moderator
Very nice photo's mate - did he get the big one back? or did you call in a chopper...
Slopetrashuk
He got it back - One of those crashes where you have time to phone people up to come down and watch it!Suprisingly 'almost' undamaged......
Tim Mackey
Nice one Andy...some excellent ( as usual ) pictures. Glad that Flying postman Andy's model survived relatively unscathed. He is a nice chap, and a good sloper too !Pity I missed the shooting range demonstration, - I take it thats what is going on in the picture of the mpx easy glider? Well done for capturing the missus actually smiling while flying...she usually has a grim look of real determination / terror when on the sticks, especially with no umbilical !! Bravedan
Nice pics..............Re: the Ruby review (extended on site version) :-"The Ruby has seen plenty of flying time since the review was published and has quickly become the model I reach for when there's little wind - it's nice to have a model other than an Alula that can happily soar in light conditions. In fact the Ruby has been a nice suprise and really shines in light conditions and with such a low wing loading, the moulded design provides high efficiency. A nice aeroplane then. "Interesting, any chance of expanding this, as a "Ruby" is £240, and frankly an Alula is, Well, Errr, Ummm, a whole lot less.....to the extent of having a fleet of them for the same money..............SO, what would owning a Ruby do for me above my Alula please???? (other than cosmetics, less boot space and a much bigger hole in my bank balance)
Slopetrashuk
Really? You want me to point out the difference between a 5oz EPP foamie and a 2m mouldie?
Tom Satinet
are you kidding Bravedan??I'd like Andy to explain the difference.......
