Kev Greenwood
Hi everyone, i need some 12-18 gram servos to upgrade from the cheapy 9g fitted at the moment. Can anyone suggest a decent servo without breaking the bank, i know Savox are good but they are expensive, i need 4 in total.

GrahamC
I've been very pleased with TowerPro MG90's from the 'big fish'. If you prefer to use a LMS, you may find the New Power servos in stock, as I belive they are imported through Ripmax. I've only used the Mini sized [rather than the micros] but was impressed with the quality feel and accuracy of movement. They offer a 9g physical size metal gear for about £7 too. I'm always impressed how strong little servos like this are. They tend to have torque levels which are greater than a 'standard' servo; but what always makes me nervous is the servo arms. By the time you have opened the hole out a touch to take a control rod, there is not a lot of material left! Garbo
Kev you dont say if metal gears are a must. I have used these 16g digitals which are a considerable improvement on the 9g cheapies. They are about £2.30 each
