Scott Anderson - Classic Pattern Assoc.
Greetings, I'm Scott and am one of the people involved in promoting ClassiC Pattern here in the States. Many don't have the time to keep practicing (FAI Style) of flying so alot of the guys are breaking out the old piped , retracted equiped planesand competing in contest Coast to Coast. In 2012 we had 18 events and alot of good times with the old planes and patterns ( non-turnaround) one pass , one maneuver. We have a website www.classicpatternassociation.com and we even have a forum site www.classicpatternforum.com I hope you check us out and Iwill enjoy looking around your site and chatting with some of you. Cheers, Scott A. CPA #

kevin b
bbc. You fit in so well we'd be lost without you. This is a great forum, which even total amateurs like me can get involved in. Everyone has something to add to it and to learn from. You just have to make sure you don't wake up the old grumpies, otherwise it's pages of drivel and completely biased opinion. Reno Racer
Scott, I'm in. I 'converted' last year when living in OK and seeing a club mate's Kaos carve up the sky better and more precise than most of today's sport and 3D models. For some reason, I never bought a Tower Hobbies Kaos (when they used to be $99 when i lived in the US); I should have done because prices in Europe are rediculous in comparison. Anyway, I'm just now finishing my Sig Kougar, which is been glassed with super lightweight fiberglass and PolyC (same as industrial diamond hard water based floor varnish). It will be fitted with a tuned throttle pipe and given a 1970s or 80s colour scheme. Welcome aboard!
