Del Wheatley
A while ago i mentioned that a relation had built a full size model of a spitfire that now resides in a museum in NZ. I have just received some pictures of it while he had it at home so thought ya's may like a look

Del Wheatley
Thanks for the coments guy's. bbc,i am trying to get some details as i have never met the man.He is my mums cousin and he emigrated when i was a baby. From what i'm told he could make anything.I have a picture of a tommy gun carved from wood for a photo shoot that he made some where. He lives in the middle of no where with no internet and answers post when he gets round to it,so as soon as i get some info i will pass it on. My dad says he was a magician with an english wheel and a sheet of ally so i expect he would have rolled and formed all the panels by hand.
