Tony Smith 7
Nice write up. I use the DHT so there's the extra pair of DIP switches to accommodate as well. It looked on that board as if there were some components in addition to the switches and the LED so I ended up chickening out and mounting the complete board. Something that just needed a few round holes would have been a lot simpler, although the end result turned out OK for me.
Phil Green
Hi TOny You'll have seen that the newer DHT modules have a toggle switch rather than the DIP switches. One simplification with the DHT is that if you only ever intend using 2way receivers, then the toggle switch and its wiring can be removed altogether. The DHT is a bit messy! Tony Smith 7
Yes I was aware of the revision, which came out just after I got mine but too late for me. One of the fiddly things on my board was that the LEDs are surface mounted so can't fit snug into a panel cutout no matter how accurately cut. You have to either have a gaping hole or do as I did and mount it behind a clear panel. Is that different on the toggle switch revision?
