Alan B Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Hi Just for members interest. Since my last thread I have increased the throws on my girfriends Chinook but only on the elevator. I have left the aileron throws the same to keep it more stable for her (in theory!) I was hoping to get more foward motion and loose the flying bacwards syndrome in light wind. We had a rare nice day last week so I thought I would see how it performed. There was the occassional gust of light breeze. So it was her second lesson. She is a highly intelligent and motivated person but is stil trying to grasp the theory of the transmitter controls - be it slowly! I wanted her to just rotate the heli and try and keep it in the hover ( yes I know - easier said than done for a beginner!) As they always say- never teach your wife or partner to drive yourself - I think it that should apply to model aircraft aswell ! She is a blonde with attitude! Or is it altitude!
