Just for members interest.   Since my last thread I have increased the throws on my girfriends Chinook but only on the elevator. I have left the aileron throws the same to keep it more stable for her (in theory!)  I was hoping to get more foward motion and loose the flying bacwards syndrome in light wind. We had a rare nice day last week so I thought I would see how it performed. There was the occassional gust of light breeze. If you are interested check out the video below to see how it performed.

During the late afternoon my girlfriend decided she wanted to fly it, as after all it is her helicopter! So it was her second lesson. She is a highly intelligent and motivated person but is stil trying to grasp the theory of the transmitter controls - be it slowly!  I wanted her to just rotate the heli and try and keep it in the hover ( yes I know - easier said than done for a beginner!) As they always say- never teach your wife or partner to drive yourself - I think it that should apply to model aircraft aswell ! She is a blonde with attitude! Or is it altitude!  The results are on the link below. You may have to turn the sound up on your comp.

She is going to post a video of me falling off her horse - but not on this Forum!!

 Sill in hiding!    Al
