Richard Elliot
Answer..when , after 61 flights, the carbon boom holding it fails and it turns through 90 degrees to become a one sided tailplane !! All this occuring at about 150 feet created some interesting manouvers which resulted in a high speed inverted impact. Broken mast, broken boom, and a lipo through the side of the fuz is the sum of the damage. Unfortunatly it will require some major surgry to replace the mast but when repaired it will have twin booms !! We live and learn Cheers Rich

Richard Harris
Rich, Just a mere scratch! you will soon have her repaired and in the air again, It is a big fin to hold up right, what about square section carbon as an option? Rich
Richard Elliot
Square section....now there's an idea. I've never used any before, do you think it will have greater strength in the twisting sense? Rich
