Lord B
Hi all, just a "hello, this is who I am" post as I am new to this forum but have been reading RCM&E for a few years now. I used to fly a couple of years ago, but had to stop due to other things like exams and stuff (I'm at 6th form at the moment) but now I can drive I can ghopefully et to the field more often and get back into the swing of things. I have had many flights with a Multiplex Easystar, which I am about to convert to ailerons. Why not? I also have an i.c. trainer which I am hoping to get help with learning to fly, I have just joined a local club. It's good to be back! Tim Mackey
Hi there... could you not just use a bigger capacity heavier battery - I HATE dead weight.
Mac McConnell-Wood
Thanks Timbo......I was wondering about a separate battery for the servos ,which I've seen suggested somewhere . If this is OK how do connect up the rx?
Tim Mackey
Yeh thats fine... you need to disconnect the red wire from the ESC throttle plug, and then use a seperate normal switch harness and your chosen battery to feed into the receiver "battery" socket, or indeed any spare receiver socket will do.
