Willyuk
About 2 years back I fell in love with the thunder tiger rare bear 1/6 scale. So I bought one and a used os91fx. I could not fly at the time but had the goal one day to get it in the air. I built it, tested it and hung it from the shed roof. I then started learning to fly, last year I achieved my A and my plan was to progress through a wot 4 until I was ready. I progressed so far through the wot 4 it managed to fit in a sandwich bag, so 2 months ago bought an acrowot ( a stunning plane to learn on). Today, despite sucking in of breath from a couple of mates, the Rare Bear flew, two flights, circuits only but it flew, looked stunning, was pretty quick and my nerves were shot. happy happy happy! ps posting on the other forum too!
