Measuring Amp draw on a quad.

So I've just gone to see what amps I'm pulling on my Quad in order to think about adding a little more power to it when it suddenly occurred to me that I don't actually know if it's as simple as plugging in the watt meter between the battery and the esc's and the dividing by four! I'm pulling 37 amps through four 30a speed controllers so does that mean that each esc is only seeing just over 9a?

If so - happy days! Bigger motors here I come!

Thanks,

chris

Excellent! Nice to know that my instinct is finally starting to get in tune with reality.

C rating on the batteries are either 25 or 30c depending on which one im using. I'll probably have a play with the props before I change out any motors but of course, when I do I'll still check the Amp draw so its nice to know I had a clue.

Thanks,

Chris
