Gaz Elliott
Hi there,I have recently aquired a Waco 60inch wing span designed for a 60 -75 engine. Very nice looking plane and I am looking forward to getting it up in the blue ( ?) sky. However i have read and heard that it tends to require a lot of nose weight ( over 200g fitted when I recieved it). So I looked into fitting a 91 engine . to remove the dead weight. My main problem lies with the cowl. it is cylindrical in shape and has through the test of time and heavy landings sustained a bit of damage in cracks and chips. Now with the new larger engine fitted the cutting for the engine is not in the right place . So where can I buy a new cowl or how can I repair the current one many thanks Gaz
