Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
I'm thinking of having tinker with the LUA interpreter built in to version 2.XX of the Taranis software. Has anyone had a chance to use this yet and can share their experience? BEB
Chris Bott - Moderator
I know Jim McHugh has been having a play BEB, I would think he'll be along as soon as he sees the thread title. I've read that one of the most important things to remember, is that while the core software will keep running, the LUA stuff can be shut down without notice. So it's best not to use it for anything flight critical.
Bob Cotsford
I'm planning on loading the model wizard LUA but am short of a circular tuit at present.
Chris Bott - Moderator
I have the model wizard loaded, it's nice and should be useful for beginners, but you still have to find which buttons to press to find your way around it. Having learned how, I prefer other methods for setting up a model. I've also added this display for a glider. It works perfectly, but I can't take my eyes off the model for long enough for it to be of any use. Here's a list of some available scripts. DLG Altitude and Flight Time 10 min DLG Target Game 3rd timer for total flight time LUA script to set up a sticky throttle Taranis as Large Screen Alarm Clock Altimeter left, Vspeed Center, Max/Min height display Jumbo Telemetry Display Automatic cells detection - automatically set the low voltage alarm thresholds to suit the no of cells used Sequence caller lua Links to these can be found here at the bottom of post 2 (Lots and lots of other useful links there too) Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 17/09/2014 12:27:
