Pete B
Found a link to this page of cockpit virtual tours at the National Museum of the USAF website. By coincidence, I've just taken delivery of a 24" monitor today, so I'm making the most of it! I don't think it'll have the same impact on a tablet or iPhone though... Andy Ellis 1
Fanastic! However did Blackbird pilots see where they were going?
The Wright Stuff
That is seriously impressive. Hats off to the museum for doing this: wow!!! Cosford, Duxford, Hendon: take note! Incidentally, several years ago, I worked at Wright-State University for a couple of weeks as a contractor, and visited the USAF museum several times. I can thoroughly recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in or around Ohio - it's fabulous! The upturned goblets for the Doolittle Raiders are particularly poignant. Dave Hopkin
On the Spad..... what is that thing that looks a bit like a speaking tube on the right hand side of the cockpit running upto to rim padding?
