Yeah I've still not finished my second Tonka (did I mention I've been busy?) - it has a SWEPT wing yes but its not a SWING wing IYSWIM. Andy Conway DID build a successful swing wing version at this scale, it added ~1/3lb to the AUW from my estimates...fine on a day when the lift is good. Going bigger would help all round, always an applaudable decision with PSS. I wouldn't think a built up wing at this sort of size would be notably lighter than a well manufactured foam wing - you may see benefit if you go up on scale, not sure? The fuselage does offer more opportunity for weight reduction IMO, there's a lot of block balsa in it and for me it could be built with a more weight conscious effort - there is a load of 1/2" sheeting up front, along the spine and below the intakes which could be hollowed, formers could be thinned down, fin could be built up etc... This might be more beneficial if it were EDF - for PSS I think the weight is fine, just save the model for the right slope/conditions... its no floater - it never will be - especially with the wings back at 67 degrees!!
