reg shaw
Now your talking!!! What plan did you use? How long ago did you do this one Easytiger? Was it damaged? The first pic looks like the nose has been damaged? Lovely looking beast, unusual too. Ian.
Easytiger Models
It's the first model built from a plan by Tony Lewis, aka dynamic-rc, you can look it up... Great plan, he drew it in like,, two weeks, at my suggestion... I built it last May, I think, in about three weeks, and lost interest for a while...I made a canopy master and had it molded by Bob Dively Model Aircraft, who now offer it commercially...just finished a plug for the scale spinner, which they will offer also. Yep...it fell off the wall, and sustained some damage here and there. Had a lot to do with why it sat forgotten in a corner of the shop for six months or more. Just started in on it again, after I picked up the canopy... Only stuff left to do...flap servos...motors...receiever...still some damage repairs... It's such an interesting aircraft...mine is not really detailed, but someone who wanted a really scale model could really do something with this one... J D 8
Will be interesting to hear how the model fly's,the full size was one of test pilot Eric Brown,s least favored aircraft describing it as " on the edge " most of the time. Easytiger Models
Eric Brown is my hero...my wife said he is like Forrest Gump...whatever happened in the 20th Century, Brown was probably there... I did read his writeup on the 410, long ago, and I remember getting the impression that something was not right, power-wise, on the particular aircraft he flew. The Luftwaffe guys seemed to have no problem with it... His writeup of the FW-189 has always made me want to build one, which I am contemplating for the near future... The model should fly fine, frankly, it has all the right moments for a nice flying model, and power will not be an issue with two 160 electrics on 12s. Will probably made up some scalish 3 bladers, never did that before. Don't really see anything commercial out there that looks the part in the right size...
