Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Hi stephen, and welcome to the forum. I hope you don't mind me asking but have you got significant helicopter flying experience? I large GT helicopter is a big and potentially very dangerous beast! It's just that your question seems a bit unusual - I would have thought that someone sufficiently experienced to fly such a model would be well versed on where to buy such a model? Stephen Tye
Just curiosity but thanks for the heads up. Just a beginner with large ambitions.
Stephen Tye
So far I'v got hold of a couple of training planes, Irvine 46 and 53 engines, transmitters, receivers, all servo's and spares. Be going to local club as soon as i get the engines running.
Keith Simmons
That's great to have ambitions and are you going to get at least a B cert before flying it? Start flying with smaller helicopters to gain experience. that's great with training planes at a local club.

Stephen Tye
I found a couple of helicopters in a skip on way back from work one morning, bit battered so I'll prob strip for parts. couple of engines at least. An Irvine 40 and an Enya SS 50. On the plane situation, this weekend I'm hoping to get all three of the engines going. i have for them. So far they'v failed to start so Im thinking maybe its the fuel i got free with them. So iv got some decent fuel arriving any day. If i have problems i will prob post a feed here. Thanks for the replies.
