ted hughes
Any recomendations for a electric, foam 3D model? I want to give it a go, to try to learn to aerobat a bit.I thought it would be small and convenient to chuck in the back of the car, and also not take up too much airspace. Nick Cooper
Hi Ted. you can't go wrong with a flash from Robotbirds. Damn good fun!

Kevin Wilson
I cut myself a "Leadfeather EPP Yak" using the plans from RC Groups. It is very similar to the FLASH but a bit smaller (32" ) Very cheap and flies awesome but doesnt like too much wind (does fly but becomes quite a handful) If you are only flying outdoors The Handyman or Parkmaster might be a better idea. HobbyKing have a Yak 54 and Yak 55 that are similar construction and offer a choice of 900mm & 1200mm respectively. John Muir
Twisted Hobbys Crack series models from Electric Wingman or Robotbirds. There's a selection of types and sizes. I've got a Crack Yak and a Laser, both are brilliant.
Josip Vrandecic -Mes
Hello Ted , worth seeing... for most 3D flyer this small model is the right choice.... forgives all our flight mistakes and it's made by premium foam elapor. There is a choice of cheaper setup (HK). **LINK** All the best Jo
Steve Colman
The Hummer from Hobbyking. Super cheap and flies extremely well, wind or no wind.
