winchweight
Quick question, as it says. Can my son only use Futaba 2.4ghz rx with his Futaba 2.4 tx? Or can he use Spekky rx?

birdy
No, they use different systems completely... Just a thought, can you get interfeirence with two differnt systems on a once (theoretically)?
260 Flyer
"Just a thought, can you get interfeirence with two differnt systems on a once (theoretically)?"The big advantage with 2.4GHz R/C systems is that they will change frequency at the first sign of interference. Tom Foreman
I thought Futaba frequency hops every couple of milliseconds, and spektrum frequency locks down on first two channels it finds out of 80 giving room for 40 spektrum users at any one time. Not sure how many Futaba users you can have. Rob Crewe wrote (see)"The big advantage with 2.4GHz R/C systems is that they will change frequency at the first sign of interference.
