Flying in Wiltshire

I'm visiting from the USA for a few months and would like to visit club fields around Wiltshire and other areas. I've already checked out the Salisbury MFC but unfortunately no one was there and the ground was quite soggy. I checked out the BMFA site but would like to know when some folks were going to be out, weather permitting!

Regards,

Welcome to the forum Michael.....after one of the wettest autumn/winter (so far) in the the UK for a very long time I suspect many model flying fields are more than a little bit soggy.....my own field (in the North West) is more like a rice paddy field than a runway at the moment...thinking

The BMFA website has a Club Finder section here so maybe you could find a few local clubs from there. On many Club websites there will be contact details so maybe give them a call & see when they will be out & about...

I hope you enjoy your stay in the UK...

I'm involved in two clubs, one in Pennsylvania and one very near my home in Delaware.

I'm Vice President of the Vintage Radio Control Society and host the annual Octoberfest vintage fly in at the Cloud Kings.
