Four servos on a bi-plane

Paul I am a proud builder owner of this model and I built the aileron system as desgned. No problem with one futaba 3003 servo in lower wing powering the lot  (differential built in as well using a circular servo disc as per plan) .Simple -& for a slow flier ie non aerobatic m/c where maybe a thou or  two of slop creeps in it's quite adequate  plus no long servo extensions of course!  Possible source of problems ? Must admit I prefer mechanical solid connections over 'lectric ones Call me old fashioned ' whatever

Ps   Paul .Have looked at your photo more carefully and think theres too steep an angle from the bellcrank to horn ? Is the bellcrank support in the right position .I remember slightly altering some positions of certain linkages etc to arrive at a free linkage scenario ie 'cos the rib holes & my servo mount werent where I wanted them according to the plans .If I made another one it would take me half the time but maybe not as much pleasure.Good luck  The choice is yours?

yes your right I stared at this for some time last night, I fitted the servo where the bellcrank  would have been expecting no problems but has you say it would require either a very tall servo horn or some clever cranking of the rod, might try the servo in the other way up.

Yes the crank support is fitted to plan.

Did the plane have linkages from top to bottom wing controls on the full size? or is this some thing built into the model? if I message my email address have you any pictures of yours love to see them?
