the unmagnificent man
Hi everyone, great site. Although I am not new to model building I am relatively new to this site. I am building a special biplane at the moment (more details soon)but I am struggling to find a set of wheels to suit. I need a pair of 65mm dia vintage looking wheels like the ones on a fokker triplane or sopwith camel. Not the big balloon type. I may get away with 60mm or up to 70mm but no more or less. I have tried ebay, google and various model shops but to no avail. If anyone has a set for sale or knows of a place to contact I would appreciate the info. Thanks

the unmagnificent man
Thanks David, after reading some of the threads last night I came across www.flairmodels.co.uk and they have the exact wheels I need. But thank you very much for the info. unmag (al)
Alan Gordon
Hi, it looks like you need a pair of "Flair" wheels, these wheels were supplied in Flair kits ie Pupateer,Legionair ect I think Marionville Models (Edinburgh)have some in stock.
