Mel Jones
I am considering the purchase of a Mini Epsilon from Staufenbiel. Does anyone have any experience of this model? For me it is a fair amount of money to invest so I would like to know if it would be well spent. Pete B
I don't have the mini version but the Epsilon 3500mm V1. A good solid model and you rarely get poor quality gear from Staufie. Be aware, though, that those buying PNP versions in the past have found that the servos have been glued in without much thought to setting up throws etc, so a fair bit of re-fettling has been required. The ARF version is substantially cheaper but of course you have to source and fit your servos etc. I don't know if these issues have been addressed recently with the PNP versions. Others may have more recent experience. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Epsi - mine's a real cruiser....... ps Just found a German review of the Mini - translation here. Seems very favourable! Edited By Pete B - Moderator on 17/09/2016 19:09:
