The hall we use is quite small, though Vapors are OK it's really too small for fixed wing models - even the very small ones. So it's mostly helicopters or small quads that get flown. I've been flying a V911 helicopter for a few years. They're a step up from dual rotor types but are still fixed pitch with 4 channel forward/back/sideways control and very cheap and surprisingly rugged. I guess 25 grams makes the strength/weight ratio favourable. They use FlySky (not FRSky) radio but I use a plug-in module in my Taranis to fly them. Available from Banggood.

So that's an option, too.
